Slade Grants
  WDOT and SPAC

The generous grant from Dot and Ed Slade and the Slade Family Foundation has made a major impact on the Schreiber HS community. See below for their impact on the PWEF Education Support Center!

WDOT Schreiber Radio Station went live in the spring of 2006. Under the direction of teacher and club advisor Jeremy Klaff, students learn about all aspects of broadcasting. The aim is to establish a listening community through news, commentary, music and entertainment. There are currently 200+ participants in the club with a class in place as an elective. Listen live streaming on the web at www.portradio.org

The Slade Performing Arts Center/SPAC celebrated its grand opening in June 2006. This is a multi-purpose room that accommodates small-scale productions. This is an intimate setting for chamber music concerts, recitals, dance and drama.
